Leadership
Mark A. Cunningham, a former United States Marine Corps veteran with over 30 years of local government experience, founded Advanced Governmental Consulting Services to provide cities and counties direct access to the kind of experienced, credentialed guidance usually reserved for the largest metro areas. He holds a Master of Public Administration in Urban Management from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Sojourner-Douglass College, and completed executive education at the Harvard Kennedy School in Leadership Decision Making and Innovations for Economic Development. He served as President of the Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) for 2024–2025. He partners closely with elected officials, city and county managers, and department heads to strengthen operations, sharpen strategy, and build lasting public trust.
